Kraft Cheese Catalina Deal (possibly) Ending Tonight!
I found out earlier that this catalina is printing at Pathmark. Unfortunately, its gotten so late that by the time I type up the whole deal, it will be too late to make it to the store before closing time for some of you. Luckily, the fabulous Cindy over at Living Rich with Coupons has already done so. She has the whole deal here for those of you who have some free time tonight and want a great price on cheese.

Shopping Trip - Week of 1/22
It's been an insanely busy few months and unfortunately my poor blog got abandoned in the shuffle. One of my News Years resolutions was to put it back on my to-do list, and while I'm a few weeks late, there are so many great deals this week I thought it would be the perfect time to start writing again.
I started this year with a goal grocery/household items budget of $50-$75 a week, but we're only a household of 2 so I'd like to stick closer to $50. I realize that's an ambitious goal, but I think I'm up for the challenge. If we go over by a bit it won't be an issue as long as we keep it under $75.
I did 2 transactions at Shoprite this week (technically last week because we went yesterday). That way I could use my $5 catalina from the P&G deal on the same trip. I went mainly for the super cheap Smart Ones meals (which I need now that Cindy inspired me to join Weight Watchers) and for the P&G Go For the Gold rebate deal that Cindy told us about here.

Shoprite = Spent $43.19 oop for about $100 worth of groceries and have an MIR for $10 back for a savings of about 67%.

4 9Lives Canned Food 4 packs @ $1.25 [- $1/3 from January All You Mag.] = $1.00 ea or $4.00
2 packs of Chicken Breasts @ $1.99/lb (We really needed these) = $13.64
Final price for this transaction was $41.60 for about $74 worth of groceries. I also got a $5 oyno for the P&G Go For the Gold and I will get a $10 Visa gift card back in a mail in rebate.

Then it was off to Acme for free cereal and frozen vegetables...

Acme: Spent $5.98 oop for $36.49 worth of groceries for a savings of 84%.
